Summary Box:
Our uncoated windows are available in a variety of materials to suit the particular application.Description:
The uncoated windows can be made from BK7 glass, fused silica, CaF2 and Sapphire. This range of materials allows broadband transmission to be tailored to the desired wavelength. Sapphire windows are transparent from 180-4500nm, with a refractive index of 1.755 at 1000nm. These robust Sapphire windows are ideal for applications which require high material strength and broadband transmission. They can be made thinner than other materials because of the high material strength. Sapphire windows are only available as a standard window.Specifications:
