Description:

The uncoated windows can be made from BK7 glass, fused silica, CaF2 and Sapphire. This range of materials allows broadband transmission to be tailored to the desired wavelength. Fused Silica is transparent over the range 185-2500nm, with a refractive index of 1.4858 at 308nm. It has low thermal expansion coefficient, and is generally favoured for applications requiring high thermal resistance.
