Description:

Alluxa bandpass filters deliver superior performance and durability over traditional laminated filters. All Alluxa optical filters are hard-coated using our innovative SIRRUS™ plasma deposition process. ULTRA Series filters provide better overall performance than our standard fluorescence filters by using a combination of tight wavelength control, ultra-steep edges, deeper blocking, and the industry's highest transmission levels. Through a combination of precision wavelength control, ultra-steep edges, deep blocking, and the industry's highest transmission levels, Alluxa’s ULTRA Series of hard-coated, thin-film optical bandpass filters will optimize the performance of a variety of instruments.

ULTRA Series bandpass filters are ideal for use in applications such as fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, Raman spectroscopy, LIDAR, and spectral imaging. Single-band, multiband, wideband, ultra-narrow, and narrowband filters are available.

Specifications:

Depending on the wavelength ranges and requirements of your system, ULTRA Series bandpass filters can be custom designed to meet one or more of the following challenging specifications:

• Up to 99% transmission for passbands in the visible range

• Up to OD10 wide range out of band blocking by design

• Edge transitions as steep as 0.5% of CWL from 50% T to OD6

• CWL at any wavelength from the UV to the mid IR (~250 nm to 6.2 µm)

• Tolerances as tight as ± 0.25% of CWL

• TWE as low as 0.01 wave RMS / inch measured at 632.8 nm
